Warning: This has spoilers. First thing: Okay, I've been looking at the game's overall story, and I'm pretty sure that the Cold War ends at Act I. The entire premise of Act II is that the Republic and the Empire are beginning to attack each other again—the Empire attacks Taris, and the Republic attacks Balmorra. Also, I believe that Revan is freed during Act II, and Revan's escape stops Revan's influencing of the Emperor. This allows the Emperor to move forward on his plan to consume the galaxy like he did on Nathema, which is the focus of the JK's Act III. Also, Act III contains the battles for Ilum and Corellia, which are legitimate battles between the two factions.

Basically, what I am trying to say is that I don't think Acts II and III should be considered part of the Cold War, as the very definition of a cold war is one without major open conflicts between the two factions. In my opinion, the second half of the game is part of a "Galactic War" (or something similar). My question: Should we go ahead and create an article for the resumed war, or wait until we have confirmation on the end of the Cold War? My second thing: I've been looking at different forum discussions online to analyze the chronology of the different character acts, and I think that we as a group could probably come up with a pretty accurate timeline. With the experience and knowledge of everyone on the project, it would be rather simple for us to figure out the timeline. Is anyone up for doing that here? Cade Calrayn File:StupidRepublicEmblem-Traced-TORkit.svg 18:01, April 29, 2012 (UTC) I've just completed Act II of the Sith Warrior story, and it's made clear that the Cold War is over and the galaxy is returning to full scale war by Act III. This is directly related to Plan Zero, which is the primary story arc for the Warrior for Act II. So as far as the warrior's story is concerned at least, Act II is clearly defined to be part of the Cold War. I would support a Galactic War article, as it's clearly announced that the Cold War is over. Alexsau1991 (talk page) File:StupidSithEmblem-Traced-TORkit.svg 17:49, April 30, 2012 (UTC) The Cold War ends by the end of Act II, as by Act III's start, the galaxy is at full-scale war again.--Mattto123 10:01, May 14, 2012 (UTC)
