- Robert Vaughn is a former NASCAR driver from Jackson, NJ. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series events in his career, recording one top-ten finish. All of Vaughn's races came in 1965, when he debuted at Daytona, starting in the qualifier event for the Daytona 500. Vaughn started 19th and drove to a 13th place effort, good enough to make the prestigious Daytona 500. He would finish 43rd (last) in that race, however, after early engine failure. In fact, DNFs would haunt the rest of his season. He failed to finish a race in the year and as a result just picked up one top-15 finish after Daytona. That came in his final career race at Beltsville, where, despite only completing just a few of the laps, Vaughn came home with a career-best 10th place finish.
