LSD stands for lysergic acid diethylamide; discovered back in 1938, and is actually found in nature LSD is manufactured from lysergic acid, which is found in “ergot” - a fungus that grows on rye and other grains. With regards to how long does it work, sometimes you can feel it as soon as you put it on your tongue, other times it can take up to 45 minutes to feel it. It depends on the quality and dosage of the acid, as well as on your tolerance to it. The trip itself will usually last somewhere between 6 and 12 hours.
