In 1973 and 1974 a modified International Harvester Travelall was marketed as the International Harvester Wagonmaster. The roof over the cargo section was removed to make a 5 foot pickup bed. The target market for the Wagonmaster were people who pulled fifth wheel RV trailers. The exposed cargo area provided the space needed to mount the fifth wheel for the trailer. It came to light that the bed wasn't long enough to place the 5th-wheel hitch over the rear axle, but rather further back. This caused for severe handling issues.
