  • Khepri is an god who has the head of a Scarab. Lara Croft discovers the Stone of Khepri underneath the Sphinx at Giza. Khepri appears as a boss in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
  • Khepri is a playable character from the MOBA game SMITE and a deity from Egyptian Pantheon.
  • Khepri, the Son of Naunet, is the God of the Morning Sun, and is one of the three personas of Ra.
  • In ancient Egyptian mythology, Khepri (also spelled Khepera, Kheper, Chepri, or Khepra) is a god connected with the scarab beetle (kheprer), because the scarab rolls balls of dung across the ground, an act that the Egyptians saw as a symbol of the forces that move the sun across the sky, thus making Khepri a solar deity. He was aboard the Solar Barge.
  • The cult of Khepri, the dung beetle, is common among the peasants and laborers of Osirion. Khepri represent those who toil in ignominy and squalor. He is a trickster, turning the indignity of his appearance and labor upon those who consider themselves refined, elevated, and superior to others. The Scarab of Khepri is a magic item in the shape of a small golden statuette of Khepri that allows the user to speak with vermin.
  • Khepri, also known as Regulus III, was a planet, the third in the Regulus star system. Regulus III was orbited by one moon. (ST reference: The Worlds of the Federation) Khepri had a lifeform-supporting planetary atmosphere, which by the 23rd century, supported a sizable humanoid civilization. Khepri was also home to a species of bird known as the kok-ido, which was also considered a delicacy by the native population. (TOS - Star Trek II Short Stories short story: "The Blaze of Glory") Regulus III was inhabited by the Veliki. (DS9 novel: Sacraments of Fire)
  • Khepri (Kheper, Khepera, Chepri, Khephir) was associated with the scarab or dung beetle (Scarabaeus sacer), making him one of the most famous insect gods. The Egyptians watched the scarab beetle rolling dung into a ball and pushing it along the ground to its burrow. The Egyptians made a connection between the movement of the sun across the sky and the movement of the ball of dung pushed by the beetle. The solar connection was enhanced by the fact that the scarab has antenna on its head and when the scarab pushed a ball of dung along the ground, the ball would sit between the antenna in a way that was reminiscent of the solar disc flanked by a pair of horns which was worn by many deities.
  • Golden scarabs that live in groups in the ruins of the desert region. They appeared out of nowhere in the ruins that became abandoned after losing their original master (pharaoh) and started living there unnoticed. They excel at manipulating demonic energy, and they have a habit of gathering the demonic energy released by monsters normally or during sex, rolling it into a spherical form, carrying it, and storing it in the ruins of their home.
  • The khepri are an insect-like race whose males and females develop quite differently. The males appear to be a species of very large, unintelligent beetles. The female khepri have heads that resemble the male khepri, but they have developed humanoid bodies, and developed intelligence far beyond the simple minds of the khepri males. Because of this disparity, khepris have a matriarchal society. Khepri communicate with each other through smell, giving off a chemical spray that they can smell and understand. Khepri may use sign language when they need to communicate with non-khepri.
  • Since the scarab beetle lays its eggs in the bodies of various dead animals, including other scarabs, and in dung, from which they emerge having been born, the ancient Egyptians believed that scarab beetles were created from dead matter. Because of this, they also associated the Khepri with rebirth, renewal, and resurrection. Indeed, his name means "to come into being". As a result of this, when the rival cult of the sun-god Ra gained significance, Khepri was identified as the aspect of Ra which constitutes only the dawning sun (i.e the sun when it comes into being).
