President Bob Carlson founded "Arbor" in 1995. Arbor’s mission is to create solutions to snowboard, skateboard, and clothing design challenges using materials from the natural world, when possible, replacing environmentally harmful materials with ecologically based, natural alternatives. Arbor currently manufactures a full line of snowboards (freestyle and freeride), skateboards (longboards and freestyle boards), and clothing (ment’s and women’s t-shirts, belts, hats and hooded sweatshirts).

Arbor currently manufactures a full line of snowboards (freestyle and freeride), skateboards (longboards and freestyle boards), and clothing (ment’s and women’s t-shirts, belts, hats and hooded sweatshirts). In 2005 introduced structural bamboo veneer topsheets, in hope of further reducing its reliance on petroleum-based resin and chemically treated fiberglass. Arbor’s use of bamboo began in 2001 with the introduction of its Mystic Series.
