The models in the Jet King series were a nod to the "pawnshop" copy guitars from the 1960s, which Ibanez, among others, sold. The JTK40 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset triangle position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Artcore humbucking pickups and a Full Tune III fixed bridge with an Ibanez VBX60 Bigsby-style vibrato tailpiece. The JTK30 is a related model without the vibrato and with single coil pickups. The JTK40 was discontinued after 2010.
