- Barranca was one of Indiana Jones' guides in the Peruvian jungle. Although he was seen attempting to kill Indiana Jones, before being killed by the Hovitos in the actual Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark film, Barranca was scared away by bats in the plot of LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. He is playable in portable versions of LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. His body is similar to that of Satipo.
- Barranca was a male Kitonak who was part of Kota's Militia and Kazim's Kitonak battalion. In 19 BBY, he accompanied other members of the militia to find stranded Jedi after Order 66 occurred. He informed the gang to head to Saleucami to find Stass Allie and unite with the Kitonak forces. They headed to Geonosis to rescue Po Nudo and the late Mex Hado. The traitorous Belloq Haako ordered Kazim, Barranca, and the Kitonak aboard the ship in Kitonese to betray the crew. Kazim was killed by Stass Allie while Barranca attempted to kill Even Piell by tackling him, but the small Jedi Master ducked and Barranca met his doom in the air lock.
- Barranca and his partner, Satipo, based their guide business from the jungle outpost of Machete Landing. In 1936, the two, along with several porters, helped guide Indiana Jones to the Temple of the Chachapoyan Warriors in Peru. Without his pistol, Barranca fled into the jungle. He encountered René Emile Belloq and a group of Hovitos. Barranca directed Belloq and his men to the location of the others before he was hunted down and killed by the darts of the Hovitos for violating the valley of their ancestors.
- Barranca was a male stoat captain of the island Sampetra, under the reign of Ublaz Mad Eyes. He captained the ship Freebooter and was the brother of Conva. He was a very popular captain on the island and ended up leading a rebellion against Ublaz after his brother was murdered by the pine marten. Barranca wore bright red silks, a headband and a black, garnet-studded belt, and his weapon of choice was a sabre. One of the select few vermin with the temerity and confidence to lead from the front, the corsair stoat was a skilled swordsbeast, wielding his blade to deadly effect. His swashbuckling and reckless disposition is epitomized in his derisive statement to Sagitar Sawfang after his capture by a horde of trident rats: "Ye lily-livered cur, you should have been within reach o' my blade, in
- Barranca fue un guía Peruano, que en 1936, junto con Satipo y varios otros cargadores, ayudaron a guiar a Indiana Jones a la cueva del Ídolo de los Hovitos en Perú.
