He was perhaps best known to audiences for providing the original voice of the cartoon cat Garfield and Carlton the doorman on the CBS sitcom Rhoda. The roles he played for Disney are Tummi Gummi in Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Sergeant Dunder in TaleSpin and some addtional character voices in Darkwing Duck. He was also the voice of Ozzie the Green in Disney's Fluppy Dogs.
