Mount Snow is a mountain and ski area in southern Vermont located in the Green Mountains. It was cohost of the first Extreme Games in 1995 and host of the Winter X-Games in 2000 and 2001. It is currently owned by Peak Resorts. The mountain is within the Green Mountain National Forest. Mount Snow's most difficult run is named Ripcord. Ripcord is one of the mountain's two double black diamonds, the other being The Plunge. In February 2007, American Skiing Company who had previously owned Mount Snow sold it, along with Attitash, to Peak Resorts.
