Subvision is the collective name for the recording talents of Chris Neal and his son Braedy. They developed the theme music for Farscape when Matt Carroll, Brian Henson, and Rockne S. O'Bannon asked them to create something between "tribal and medieval." Initially the network disliked the theme and questioned the use of the female vocal line, but the production crew felt strongly enough about it that no changes were made. (Farscape: The Illustrated Companion) Subvision shared in the Golden Reel Award nomination for the soundtrack of the first episode, "Premiere".
