The Wantuni human rights crisis sometimes called the Wantuni crisis started in March 3502 when the Dorvish Foreign Minister Bernhard Xylander released information taken by the Dorvish Foreign Intelligence Service about the genocide of Kalopians in the authoritarian regime of radical Majatran Wantuni Hegemony. The crisis escalated when the Dorvish Foreign Minister approached the Council of Majatran Nations and asked the council to condemn Wantuni and their genocide. The crisis further escalated when Kafuristan, a nominal ally of the Dorvish split with the Dorvish and the government and military of Kafuristan was divided between supporting the Dorvish or their Wantuni brothers.
