The MBM1 is based on the Ibanez RGA body, but features a number of model specific features. It has a mahogany body with pearloid binding and special skull graphic bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include dual active EMG humbucking pickups, a fixed bridge, Gotoh tuning machines and no tone control. A more affordable version of the MBM1 was introduced in 2009 as the MBM2. Both models were discontinued after 2010.
