The Miridem-class is a line of refitted space-faring ships in use with the UNSC Navy. They were first introduced as civilian cargo vessels and designated the KV-1213 Supra-Cargo. Having noticed their potential, the UNSC ordered a large quantity of ships of the line and upgraded them with Titanium A armor plating, military grade slipspace drives, miniature missile pods, and a small number of AAA Helix point defense guns. The class' namesake is the human colony world of the same name, which was glassed by invading forces during the Human-Covenant War.
