- Carmilla, AKA Mary, is a Forums moderator from Oklahoma. She is a fan of games such as World of Warcraft and The Sims 3. She also likes the Twilight series. Carmilla is a BBS regular, with over 13,000 posts since 2003. She was modded in January of 2005.
- Carmilla is the titular main character of the 1872 Gothic novella "Carmilla" by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. Set in Styria, it tells the story of a young woman, Laura, who befriends with lovely Carmilla, only to find out that she is actually a female vampire, Countess Mircalla Karnstein. Carmilla was first published in the magazine The Dark Blue in late 1871 and early 1872 and then in the author's collection of short stories In a Glass Darkly in the latter year. Carmilla has been adapted many times for cinema.

Sara was originally born in Sydney, Australia, as the now-deceased writer, Michael Waite, 25 years old at the time of his death. On her father's side she's the daughter of Gothmog, a younger Great Old One who's the son of Shub-Niggurath, and a Demon of Lust and Perversion. On her mother's side she's part Deep One, part human. Family reunions are interesting. Given this background, her being omni-sexual should surprise no one.
