The Lava Launcher was Piraka Hakann's weapon. It could focus Hakann's fire powers in the form of lava spheres. It also had a claw tool on the other end. Interestingly, ammunition seemed to increase with its environment. The warmer the location it was in, then the more ammunition it supplied. Hakann left this tool behind upon entering the Pit, where he was mutated into a snake-like creature.

Lava pellets are used as ammunition. The TzHaar invented it, via through use of the Ark of Eternal Damnation. The TzHaar, from these blueprints, were able to adapt the weapons into lava launchers, and they mass-produced these. The Socialists struck a deal with them, and now they also use the launchers. They set up Tony de Fillo, so he would open the Ark. He managed to receive blueprints for a gun, after opening it. The TzHaar had one pistol made, and The General stole it, believing it be a weapon of destruction. It was destroyed by lava later. (GL: The Socialist Stratagem) The TzHaar, from these blueprints, were able to adapt the weapons into lava launchers, and they mass-produced these. The Socialists struck a deal with them, and now they also use the launchers. (GL: Eve of War) During the Economy War, both the TzHaar and the Socialists used the launchers as their primary weapons. They were a success, and the battle raged on. (GL: The Battle of Ardougne) Fort Avias has mounted lava launchers, but these launchers have been improved. (GL: The Fortified Sky)
