  • As reported by Andrew Handley: "The Flashing Blade has only been involved in one incident so far, but it was definitely bizarre. A gang armed with chains and knives attacked two detectives in South Shields in 2007. The detectives were unarmed, but out of nowhere a man leaped into the fight, swinging a katana and shouting, 'Leave him alone, he’s a police officer!' The sword caught one of the gang members on the arm, and the rest of them turned and ran.

Hits: 3 Multipliers: ~1.2 x 3 Charge time: 5 Increase to gauge: 69 Direction: N/A (cannot miss) Battle quote: I'll take care of this! Finishing strike: Flashing Blade!" Flashing Blade is the second weakest PWS in the game (before Icicle Disaster). However, it adds a lot of energy to the gauge and is therefore ideal as the third PWS in a chain, as it will allow a fourth one to trigger afterwards.
