Godfrey the Unknown was accomplice and "number two" to Thomas Blood in his attempt to steal the Crown Jewels of England from the Tower of London. In Muppets Most Wanted, Constantine and Dominic find Blood's key hidden in a marble bust of Godfrey the Unknown. The bust is kept in the Statue Room at the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain along with 250 other statues. The two criminals break in to the museum and smash the bust to recover the key. Finding the right bust proved somewhat difficult for the pair because, as Dominic pointed out, "no one knows what the Unknown looked like," to which Constantine commented, "of course not, he was second in command, so no one cared."

According to Constantine, the bust of Godfrey the Unknown bears an uncanny resemblance to Dominic Badguy.
