- Eddard Stark je reálná fiktivní postava ze světa knihy Píseň ledu a ohně a následného seriálu Hra o trny, kde jej ztvárnil Sean "Spoiler" Bean (Mr. Bean, Pár Pařmenů, Honzíkova cesta). Jeho sídlem je Zimohrad (anglicky Winterfell). Podle fanouškovské teorie je postava Eddarda Starka a Bobromila jedním mužem. To je dobrá teorie, neboť vysvětluje i připojení Haradu a Umbaru k silám Saurona či Melissandřin apetit pro sex zezadu. Jeho bratrancem je průmyslník a vědecká kapacita Tony Stark, známý též jako Iron Man – člen týmu Avengers.

Alongside his five children with Catelyn, Ned also raised Jon Snow as his own, who Ned presented as his bastard son, and kept the truth of Jon's parentage a secret.
