The Conservative Party of England is one of the two primary contemporary English political parties, currently holding a 295 seat strong minority in the Parliament of the Republic of England (as of the 2011 general election). The current Conservative leader is Hugh Grant, who has held that post since October of 2008. The Conservatives model themselves after the Conservative Party of the Kingdom of England, and take the same nickname (Tories).
