- Kenny Baker (1934-2016) was an actor best known for playing R2-D2 in the first six Star Wars films. Although R2 made several Muppet related appearances, Baker did not perform the character: "On the few times that there was a Star Wars special they would use the three legged R2, like on The Muppet Show." However, Baker did work with Jim Henson, as a member of the goblin corps in Labyrinth. His other films include Time Bandits, The Elephant Man, and Amadeus.

Baker, with an open gash on his head, opens up Artoo and begins vomiting into the swamp. He then goes back inside.

Il interpréta le rôle de R2-D2 dans les six premiers films Star Wars, grâce à sa petite taille il peut entrer dans le costume du droïde. Dans l'épisode VI il joue aussi le rôle de Paploo. Dans l'épisode VII, il fut crédité comme consultant et ne joua pas le rôle du droïde.

- Kenny Baker (August 24, 1934 – August 13, 2016) was a British actor best known as the man inside of R2-D2 in the Star Wars film series. Baker, at 3 feet, 8 inches (112 cm) tall, was a circus and cabaret performer with entertainer Jack Purvis when George Lucas hired him to be the man inside R2-D2 in Star Wars in 1977. Though both he and his wife have dwarfism, their two sons do not. Baker appears in all six of the Star Wars films, although stock footage was used for much of R2-D2's role in Revenge of the Sith. Baker even played an additional role in 1983's Return of the Jedi as Paploo, the Ewok who stole an Imperial speeder bike. He was originally going to play Wicket W. Warrick, but he fell ill, and that role was handed over to eleven year old Warwick Davis.
