  • The Super Hero Taisen Series (スーパーヒーロー大戦シリーズ Supā Hīrō Taisen Shirīzu?, Super Hero War Series) is a new group of moviesImage:Icon-crosswiki.png that serve as crossovers between Toei Company's superhero productions. In the run-up to the first Super Hero Taisen, producer Shinichiro Shirakura said he would like to make this type of movie the norm for spring films. Currently all four movies are written by Shoji YonemuraImage:Icon-crosswiki.png. For the directors, the first two films are directed by Osamu KanedaImage:Icon-crosswiki.png and the third and fourth were directed by Takayuki ShibasakiImage:Icon-crosswiki.png. Following the production of Net Movies to accompany the release of OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen RidersImage:Icon-crosswiki.png (2011), both Super Hero Taisen and Super Hero Taisen Z had their own series of Net Movies, Super Hero Taihen and Super Hero Taisen Otsu respectively. While a tradition for Kamen Rider Series Summer MoviesImage:Icon-crosswiki.png since Kamen Rider KivaImage:Icon-crosswiki.png, these Super Hero Taisen Net Movies featured a new chance for Super Sentai characters to participate following their own attempt at Summer Net MoviesImage:Icon-crosswiki.png alongside Kiva failing to start the tradition for their own Summer MoviesImage:Icon-crosswiki.png. However, a series of Net Movies were not made to accompany Kamen Rider Taisen and Super Hero Taisen GP. Since their beginning, the franchise releases a film, at the very most, two weeks after their magical girl counterpart Pretty Cure All Stars.
