  • In the mirror universe, Enrique Muñiz (also known as "Quique") was an active member of the Terran Rebellion against the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance who served on the Defiant under the command of General Miles "Smiley" O'Brien. The spy later turned out to be Sito Jaxa and Muñiz was only sending and receiving messages to maintain contact with friends whom he made in other rebel groups such as a group of his friends informing him of deserting the Alliance on a stolen ship called the Vesuvius, and receiving a strip-dance video from his lover Lisa Neeley on his birthday. O'Brien called him "a lucky, lucky man". (DS9 - Mirror Universe novel: Saturn's Children) He was killed in 2378 while the Defiant was attempting to prevent the Klingon renegade Krona from detonating Bajor's sun B'hava'el with a trilithium explosive. After the victory of the Terran Rebellion that year, O'Brien mourned Muñiz's death. (ST - Mirror Universe novel: Rise Like Lions)
