He then recited "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". Bltzwing returned in "Lost And Found". He was on The Moon with Lugnut trying to teach him to dance. He later fell to Earth and tried to find The Autobots. He then attacked Detroit to lure the Autobots out. He fought with them for long before Lugnut used hi Super Punch. Lugnut then received a transmission from Megatron and rocketed off with Blitzwing. They crashed at an Air Force base. Next, Blitzwing decided to scan a jet and an assault tank. He transformed to hide from the oncoming police. Much later, Blitzwing froze Lake Erie and attacked The Autobots. He followed the Autobots underwater and attacked from there. He was easily lured into a trap and was cut by Prowl and stung by Bumblebee. He was then punched by Lugnut. Later, he was lured in front of Teletaan-1's massive cannon and blown away. He was later saved by Starscream. Blitzwing reappeared in "Megatron Rising". he was ordered to find the Autobot Ratchet and retrieve Sari's key. He found Ratchet and froze his arm. He yanked it off and flew to Sumdac Tower. He found the Megatron hard and attached it to his new body. He wanted to kill The Autobots but Megatron wanted to wait. Later, he attacked the Autobots near the forest. He was hit with an EMP blast and crashed to the ground. Later, he was repeatedly insulted by Bumblebee and this made him transform to tank mode in midair. In "Mission Accomplished", Blitzwing returned. He told Lugnut that even though he was right in front of him, he couldn't pick up his energy signature due to the signal disruptors. In "A Bridge Too Close", Blitzwing was put in stasis cuffs by Blurr. He was later found by Scrapper. Blitzwing returned in "Five Servos Of Doom". He was captured by Sentinel Prime. Jetstorm wanted to have a picture in front of him. In "Decepticon Air", he was let out of the brig by the reactivated Swindle. He got his shoulder cannons back from him. He helped put the Autobots in jail and attacked Optimus Prime on Steelhaven. He was later frozen and shown in a parade. ===Toys=== Blitzwing (Voyager, 2008) A voyager sized mold, Has three modes and 3 faces.

- In the original cartoon, Blitzwing was a treacherous soldier who tried to overthrow Megatron on a few occasions. Each time he proved to be incompetant. Blitzwing and Astrotrain had fallen into the electrocution trap of a robot scorpion set up by the British human poacher and were locked up in chains. When they promised the British human poacher they would fight Optimus Prime, they instead tried to kill the human poacher as revenge. However, Astrotrain and Blitzwing retreated when the Autobots were freed and were trying to attack them. Blitzwing was one of the few survivors of The Transformers: The Movie, as unlike most Transformers he was not replaced. His most prominent moment in the movie was where he was in tank mode trying to kill Rodimus and Daniel Witwicky until Kup got handle of his gun, then an Insecticon fell into Blitzwing rolling him off the mountain. In the fifth part of Five Faces of Darkness, he teamed up with Rodimus to warn Galvatron not to turn on a switch that was built by the Quintessons. The Quintessons tricked Galvatron to turn on the switch which froze every Transformer in the universe. However, Spike Witwicky used Rodimus's gun to destroy the control panel that functioned the switch, remobilizing every Transformer. Rodimus, Blitzwing, and Galvatron tried to chase the Quintessons who escaped in a rocket. Galvatron threatened to kill Rodimus with his gun before Blitzwing aimed his gun at Galvatron and ordered him to leave. Galvatron claimed that Blitzwing will suffer for this unimaginably. Though being exiled on the Decepticon cause, Blitzwing is still seen in many further episodes as a background character In Transformers Animated he is loyal to Megatron and very powerful. He can also transform into both a jet and a tank due to an experiemtn by Blackarachnia. Unfortuneatly this caused him to have a split personality represented by three faces. One face is red with a red visor similar to his G1 face. This face, nicknamed Hothead, allows Blitzwing to control fire-based powers but is also aggressive and not very smart. Another face is blue with a mincole-like eye. In this state Blitzwing can control Ice based powers and is quite intelligent. His third face is what makes him a fan favorite. It is black except for a red "jack-o-lantern" face. It is completely insane and unpredictable. It often acts child like and cracks jokes while attacking. It has shown to be able to control both fire and ice attacs but lacks much cordination.

As a MIG-25 fighter jet fighter, Blitzwing can fly at Mach 3.2 with a range of 1500 miles. He carries heat-seeking concussion missiles. As a Type-74 assault tank, he can traverse most terrain, however rugged, and can achieve a speed of 33 mph. His track-mounted cannon fires an explosive shell 3.5 miles that can level a 5-story brick building. In robot mode he uses an electron scimitar which can short-circuit any electrical device with a touch of its blade, and a gyro-blaster rifle, which disrupts the sense of balance of anyone it hits for 30 minutes. Blitzwing sometimes gets his circuits scrambled, which results in him getting stuck in mid-transformation between forms. "Destroy first, think later."
