| - Ningxia is an Autonomous region of the People's Republic of China
- Ningxia is portrayed as remnant of Asian cultures post-shattering. The native characters are Chinese, although many of the structures including what the episode title refers to as "the great wall" has more east-Asian designs. Ningxia is a neutral block whose economy is based around the mining of one of the few quarries in Skyland. It has a contract with the Sphere for half of the contents mined out, but the treaty is tenuous. It is home to master Hailong Zalo, a friend of the Vector's, and some of his followers Lee and Feng.
- Ningxia is a struggling nation, surrounded on all sides by hostile forces, a small island of peace in war-torn China.
