  • The Lemonade Kid was the fastest gunhand North or South of the Rio Grande, who worked as an FBI agent. He wore a lemon yellow and green Hollywood cowboy costume (sometimes with a green mask) and fought criminals, mad scientist, monsters and other villains in the mid 20th century. His enemies included The Spider, The Egg, and Tommy "Guns" Griggs. His favorite drink was...lemonade. This was the secret identity of Tex Mason, the foreman and security chief on Bobby Benson's B-Bar-B Ranch in Texas, when he was called to a mission by FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. He was very athletic, ambidextrous and wielded a twin pair of blue steel six shooters with deadly accuracy. He could shoot holes through spare change before it hit the ground, and was highly skilled in unarmed combat as well (capable of defeating professional fighters in boxing and wrestling). Although he didn't always ride his horse as the Lemonade Kid, he had repeatedly demonstrated his riding skills as one of the B-Bar-B Riders. He appeared to speak at least some Spanish, and was sent to Mexico on at least one occasion to help law enforcement officials there. While he had a "sweet" motif, he could be downright brutal, on one occasion, shoving a gun into the mouth of the man wielding it.
