Handsome Stranger is the latest gimmick employed by hispanic wrestler Mikel Jiminez. He first came to fame as Pecs, one half of the Flex and Pecs tag team, wrestling in USPW and the SWF before the duo was broken up. Once he was separated from his more talented partner (Frederique Antonio Garcia) he began to struggle; being repackaged as "The Spanish Phenom" Mikel Alonso did nothing for his career, and he would then go through another change to become Super Starfish, the fourth member of the Underwater Union. In truth, the character was just created as the catalyst for the break-up of the stable, "the commotion in the ocean", and within months the character was history. Leaving the SWF in August 2007, he appeared under his new ring name for the first time with FCW just a month later.
