This property existed primarily in older versions of the Super Smash Flash 2 Demo, where the early physics engine gave a number of moves throughout the entire roster this quirk. It was steadily phased out of the game as the physics were adjusted to favor on-ground gameplay more, and was rendered almost completely absent by v0.8a. However, it still exists in a very limited fashion in modern versions. Most modern examples can be used to perform a pseudo wavedash.
