The Reich Ministry of Food and Agriculture (Reichsministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft or RMEL) is a department of the Reich government charged with the responsibility to develop and implement policies and programs that ensure the Reich's agricultural, fisheries, food and forestry industries remain competitive, profitable and sustainable. The head of the department is the Reich Minister of Agriculture, presently Otto Braun.
