Riccardo Gabriele Patrese (PAH-tray-say; born April 17, 1954 in Padua, PD, Veneto, Italy), is a former Italian Formula One racing driver from Venuto. Patrese began his career in 1977 and concluded his career in 1993. Patrese was first Formula One driver to achieve over 200 Grand Prix's in their career. Furthermore Patrese held the record as the most experienced from 1989 until 2008 succeeding Graham Hill and Jacques Laffite at the 1989 Monaco Grand Prix as the record holder before being surpassed by Rubens Barrichello at the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix.
