The Throat Slasher was the personal starship of the Yuuzhan Vong hunter Tsaa Qalu. It was small enough to be flown by a single pilot, and highly maneuverable, but also large enough to carry two coralskippers. Aft of the flight bridge lay a corridor with access to another chamber, and airlock, beyond which lay the fighter docks and a hold that could be used to carry prisoners. A second warrior, Laph Rapuung, served as pilot, and perhaps the only other crew member.

In 27 ABY, the Throat Slasher was used to track the No Luck Required from Wayland to Thyferra, but it was destroyed when the Dug prisoner Leaft escaped and stole one of the coralskippers, forcing the ship to crash into a mountainside.
