The Etyangoldi originally spoke a Quenya dialect known as Exilic Noldorin which later split into a Feanorian or East-Beleriandic and a Fingolfinian or West-Beleriandic dialect. Most later Noldorin dialects, including Gondolindrin, Orthinian , Arctic, Thrall-Noldorin and Eresseän were descendants of the former, western branch. In Daily use these Noldor adapted Sindarin, which evolved into a Noldoric-Sindarin or Goldogrin dialect, but while the House of Feanor spoke an accented North-Sindarin, the Noldoric-Sindarin of the Fingolfinians was more of an adapted West Sindarin.
