The Young Man was a customer in The Kabin in March 1976. He paid for his paper but came back a moment later as he had bought wrong one and he wanted a Daily Mirror. Rita identified him as Bill Howarth’s eldest lad from Balaclava Street and told Mavis Riley he did the same three times a week - bought a paper, looked at pictures outside the shop and then said he’d purchased the wrong one.
