The ideal candidate will support the media and cultural studies concentration through offering classes that span the rhetorical, cultural, and historical issues associated with the modern media landscape. The ability to teach classes specifically related to rhetoric and rhetorical theory, public address, and public relations is particularly desirable. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to teach courses in the major core including critical approaches to research as well as in the general education core including public speaking. An active program of research in the candidate’s area of expertise is encouraged and supported by the institution. Candidates should apply electronically .
