Layson D. Kennard, (November 6, 1973 - December 25, 1999), better known by his stage name Big Freeze, was an American rapper from the Watts district of Los Angeles. He was a member of hip-hop groups "Bloods & Crips" and "Nationwide Rip Ridaz". Big Freeze died during a gang related shooting on December 25, 1999. He was only 26 years old.
