Paarfi does not reveal which House Vengli, apparently a notorious historical Emperor, belonged to. Possibly Vengli's fame was so great that Paarfi had no need add that detail. It has been speculated that, since Paarfi was drawing a direct comparison to Tortaalik, Vengli may also have been a decadant Phoenix. However, other Houses that would seem to fit with a "vicious" character might include Dragon, Jhereg, Orca, or even Yendi.
