| - -Thaerazan Dawnblaze Upon his return from Draenor, Thaerazan Dawnblaze encountered a Silvermoon unlike anything he remembered the old capital to be; true, he had visited it on a few occasions when M'uru was held captive in Silvermoon City, but never did he spend much time there other than for what was - to him - pure business. Now, with Kael'thas dead, House Sunstrider downfallen and the Scourge's end drawing ever nearer, Thaerazan has decided it is time to organise those amongst his people who do not wish to either see Lor'themar as ruler of Quel'thalas or the Sin'dorei as part of the Horde.

To that end, he has undertaken the decision to search for remnants of his noble House, Lanothar, and form around it a batallion of monarchists, Sunstrider loyalists, Sin'dorei nationalists, ex-Sunfury and generally anyone else open to his vision for the Sin'dorei. Such an endeavour will unquestionably require assistance, and as such the Dawning Blaze seeks to work in close proximity with House Armaros, allowing it to claim Quel'thalas for itself should it succeed in its bid for dominion over the blood elven nation. In time, its members hope that it will grow sufficient enough in force to bring Draenor under the heel of the Sin'dorei. And some secretly yearn that it claim Azshara too, and explore their race's ancient bonds with the Naga as Highborne... Those wishing to join the Blazing Dawn should first and foremost be Sin'dorei. Whilst exceptions will be made for Forsaken who RP fallen Sin'dorei, none other shall be made. Class-wise all are welcome, especially Blood Knights, Magisters, Blood Mages... even Demon Hunters (Ebon Knights or any kind of Death Knight will have to prove they would fit in to join.) In order to weed out non-serious RP membership will take roughly a week. Given that Thaerazan is in search of family members - some of which he has never met - there is scope for applicants to join as nobles of House Lanothar. Otherwise they may join as servants or as sympathisers of the House's goals. Levels are immaterial, but ability to RP is not, and some awareness of Blood elven lore is desirable. Primarily, the aim will be few but closely related RPers rather than many members who enjoy merely diluted interactions with one another. Recruitment will, for now, take place in-game, by contacting Thaerazan directly or sending mail IC expressing a wish to join, upon the subsequent placement of posters in Silvermoon City and Shattrath regarding the Blazing Dawn and its purpose. This is still up in the air, but the structure will roughly put Thaerazan and members of the nobility on top with a senior ranking Blood Knight commander and Magister following next. Subsequent ranks will be Blood Knights, Dawn Magi, Dawn Retainers, lesser nobles and servitors. The titles are tentative but expect a theme following the Sin'dorei social structure. It is intended that guild chat will be IC, with communication occuring via small magically attuned rune stones. A channel for OOC discussions will be mentioned in the MOTD. Given the controversial nature of its goals and antithesis to Lor'themar, those joining the guild's ranks should be aware that a degree of subtlety will be required when interacting with others. I hope for RP to develop organically in the guild and for a variety of themes in Blood elven RP to be picked up on, but a significant consideration will be to adopt a behind-the-veils style of RP for the most part. It is fine for one to express their loyalties, but open provocation will be seen as undesirable. More will be added as the guild grows and matures. Though the guild will aim to have a presence in Northrend (particularly in investigating the San'layn), it will have TBC and its lore at its epicentre.
