| - Karl Martin est un adolescent faisant partie des Autres. Il est le petit ami de Alex, la fille de Ben. Ce dernier l'emprisonne de peur que Alex ne tombe enceinte mais Kate et Sawyer l'emmènerons avec eux lors de leur escapade de l'Île de l'Hydre. Plus tard, Karl viendra prévenir les survivants que les Autres enlèveront les femmes plus tôt que prévu et il rejoindra le groupe qui part pour la Tour radio. Lorsque Alex et Ben s'interpose devant les survivants, Alex rejoint Karl et tous deux accompagnent les survivants jusqu'à la Tour radio. Suivant le groupe de Locke, il s'installe avec Alex et Danielle aux Baraquements, mais Ben, inquiet pour la sécurité de sa fille, leur conseille de se rendre au Temple. - Karl Martin is het vriendje van Alex. De eerste kennismaking met hem was in het derde seizoen. In de eerste aflevering A Tale of Two Cities zat hij gevangen tegenover Sawyer. Hij probeerde te ontsnappen maar werd weer gevangen genomen. In Not in Portland bevestigde Alex hun relatie aan Sawyer en Kate, die besluiten, als tegenprestatie voor de hulp van Alex, hem te helpen redden. Na ontsnapt te zijn laat Sawyer hem gaan na hem overtuigd te hebben om Alex te helpen uit naam der liefde. Karl werd in Meet Kevin Johnson onderweg naar de tempel in het bijzijn van Alex en Danielle neergeschoten.
- Karl Martin was one of "The Others" who was kept in an outside cell, at The Hydra Station. When Sawyer was brought to the cell opposite him, he warned him about using the food dispenser, to which Sawyer ignored him. when Karl planned his escape, he released Sawyer as well and told him to run the opposite way. Karl was brought back, beaten and bloody by Tom and forced to apologize to Sawyer for involving him in is escape attempts. Alexandra Rousseau later asked Kate if she had seen Karl.
