| - [The scene opens on a shot of Big Ben at night. It then cuts to a policeman standing in front of a bank building. It is very foggy. The title card appears: VAULT OF DEATH Cuts to a woman walking down the street. Only her feet are seen. The policeman can hear her footsteps. The woman approaches the policeman from behind, and he spins around quickly, shining his torch in her face. The woman turns out to be Lady Penelope.] [Suddenly, a hand appears from behind the policeman and holds a wad of cotton wool over his face. The policeman falls to the floor unconscious.] [Lady Penelope examines the door of the bank while Parker opens a manhole.] [Parker cuts a wire, extinguishing the bank's outside light.] [Lady Penelope attaches an explosive charge to the door while Parker closes the manhole.] [The charge explodes just as Big Ben strikes two.] [They enter the bank and make their way to the vault.] [Parker starts trying to open the combination lock with the help of a stethoscope. Half an hour passes. Lady Penelope is getting impatient and repeatedly snaps her fingers.] [Another hour passes.] [Finally, the door unbolts and Parker swings it open.] [Suddenly, the light switches on and a group of seven men all start voicing their appreciation. One of the men walks up to Penelope.] [Parker is talking to the other men.] Lady Penelope: "Yes, Parker, but I think that will be all." [To Lord Silton:] "Well, we really must be on our way now. I do hope you'll be able to keep the dinner invitation." [Scene cuts to outside the bank. The policeman is back on his feet, blowing his whistle. Then, the scene cuts to Lady Penelope and Parker driving along in FAB1.] [Scene cuts to an exterior shot of Parkmoor Scrubs Prison. The prisoners are restless. Cuts to inside, where it appears one prisoner has dug a tunnel and escaped from his cell. Alarms sound, searchlights come on. A row of rubbish bins stands in a courtyard. The lid of one rises up, revealing a man: Light-Fingered Fred. Then, the scene cuts to Creighton-Ward Mansion. Lady Penelope is talking on the phone.] [Cuts to Lord Silton in his office.] [Silton walks over to a picture of the bank.] [Scene opens with a shot of Lambert at work inside the vault. Cuts to Lovegrove outside the vault.] [Cuts back to Lambert. His intercom buzzes.] [He picks up the intercom and places it in a drawer.] [Cuts to the Creighton-Ward Mansion. Penelope and Lord Silton are having aperitifs in the drawing room.] [Scene cuts to the kitchen.] Parker: "Ah, well... [He reads the paper's main headline, "Light Fingered Fred Escapes", and jumps up.] Cor strike me pink! Light-Fingered Fred's out!" [Cuts to a lorry driving down a country road. On the back are a number of rubbish bins. One of the bins falls off. When it comes to a halt, Light-Fingered Fred pops his head out. Then, the scene cuts back to Creighton-Ward Mansion, where Penelope and her guest have finished having dinner and are back in the drawing room.] [Penelope pulls a bell cord, and Parker appears at the door.] [His briefcase beeps repeatedly.] [Parker drops the coffee tray all over Lord Silton, who jumps up from his chair.] [Scene cuts to the bank. Lambert is still at work inside the vault. Lovegrove is looking at the air-in-vault indicator.] [Cuts to Creighton-Ward mansion. Lord Silton is on the videophone.] Lord Silton: [To Penelope] "Now we'll be able to find out the trouble." [Parker looks at them through the keyhole, then tiptoes away.] [Parker cuts the phone wire.] [Parker appears at the door.] Parker: "Yes, m'lady?" [His wire-cutter falls to the floor.] "I've er um been pruning the roses, madam." [Cuts to the three of them driving along in FAB 1, slowly.] [Parker accelerates, but takes a wrong turn. Cuts to the bank.] 'PART THREE' [Inside Thunderbird 5, John takes a call.] [Cuts to Jeff in his office. John's portrait beeps.] [Scott, Virgil, Gordon and Alan are by the pool when an alarm sounds.] [Cuts back to Jeff.] [Scott and Alan enter.] [Scott makes his way to Thunderbird 1 and takes off.] [Virgil and Alan make their way to Thunderbird 2 and take off. Scene cuts to the bank. Lovegrove is looking at the air-in-vault indicator, which shows half-empty.] [Thunderbird 1 lands in London. Some time later, Scott is inside the bank and has set up his Mobile Control unit.] [Thunderbird 2 also arrives.] [Cuts to the bank. Virgil and Alan are busy cutting through the door of the vault.] [Cuts to FAB 1. They have reached a dead end, at a place called "Lovers Leap".] [Scene cuts to Parker and Fred in their prison cell.] [Cuts back to FAB 1.] [They get back in the car. Penelope drives forward, nearly sending FAB 1 over the edge of the cliff.] [They narrowly miss the tree. Scene cuts to the bank, where Virgil and Alan are still cutting while Scott studies a map.] [Cuts to Lambert inside the vault.] [Cuts to Tracy Island.] [Cuts to a disused subway tunnel. Alan and Virgil are on their hoverbikes.] [Cuts to the bank. The air-in-vault indicator shows it is now 3/4 empty.] [Cuts to FAB 1. Penelope crashes through a hedge at top-speed.] [Back to the subway tunnel. Alan and Virgil arrive at a station called Bank.] [Cuts to inside the vault. Lambert is sweating profusely.] [He slowly makes his way to the door, and is shocked to find it closed.] I'm locked in! The air.... The air's nearly pumped out!" [Back in the tunnel, Alan and Virgil are climbing up a ladder.] [After a brief shot of FAB 1 racing along, scene cuts to outside the vault. The indicator shows it is now nearly empty.] [Cuts to Lambert.] [Somewhere underground, Alan and Virgil are drilling holes in a wall. Cuts to FAB 1 arriving at the bank.] [Outside the vault, Scott is frowning.] [Alan and Virgil are still drilling away.] [Lambert is looking for the intercom.] [Alan and Virgil have attached explosive charges to the wall.] [They move away. Lady Penelope, Parker, and Lord Silton arrive at the vault.] [Lambert has found his intercom.] [The explosives detonate, blasting a huge hole in the wall.] [The vault door opens.] [Scene cuts to Parker and Lady Penelope driving along in FAB 1.] [Cuts back to the vault. Another huge explosion goes off, blowing a hole in one of the walls. Light-Fingered Fred appears. He is amazed to see the vault door is open, and that one of the walls has a huge hole in it.] THE END
