The Midwinter Festival is a traditional celebration held in Midwinter, or winter solstice, which marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year. It involves handing out presents to family and friends alike late in the evening, sometimes in the privacy of home and other times at a larger gathering in some larger building like a town hall. Variations of the Winter Festival are known to be celebrated among humans, elves and dwarves.
