  • Jeremiah Riggs (December 17, 1982) is an American professional mixed martial artist and reality television personality from Vicksburg, Mississippi. After leaving the Army in 2005, Riggs worked around Mississippi driving trucks for a living. In 2007 Riggs sold his trucking company and moved to San Jose to train MMA with Frank Shamrock. In 2007 Riggs was set to become part of the San Jose Razorclaws, an International Fight League team coached by Shamrock but the team was disbanded by the IFL before the season began. After the IFL dissolved Riggs was invited to be a part of season seven of The Ultimate Fighter Riggs was paired against Dan Cramer in a preliminary matchup. Riggs lost a decision. After his experience on The Ultimate Fighter Riggs moved to Illinois to train with Matt Hughes at the HIT squad. In early 2009 Riggs was chosen to go on VH1's hit reality show "Daisy of Love". Riggs was given the name "Big Rig" by Daisy De La Hoya due to his experience of driving trucks back home in Mississippi. In an MMA fight arranged by the show's producers Riggs defeated VH1 reality personality "12 Pack". "12 Pack" suffered from a broken nose and had to go to the hospital after the fight. Riggs finished fifth on the show. In 2010 Riggs returned to MMA and won 5 out of 6 fights. Riggs fought for Bellator and Strikeforce on their undercards. Riggs last competed defeating Erick Slocum at SportFight X "Middle Tennessee Mayhem" by majority decision. The win was Riggs fifth win in a row. In March 2011, he was announced as one of the 14 contestants for the return of WWE Tough Enough V set to debut April 4 on USA. He was eliminated in episode 9, finishing in 3rd place.
