Rudolph V under his reign in Greater Hulstria saw the creation of the office of Governor-General and the rise of new royalist domination in the Imperial Diet. Rudolph V was not able to see all of these things mature as he was assassinated during the inaugural ceremony of Karl van Gessel as the 1st Governor-General in Kien on August 14, 2647.
