- Version is a set of cards. Most of them have their packs. An example of a Version is the Dividing of 4 Kingdoms, Merrisia 1st, and Neo Prophet. Some Versions do not have their pack such as Treasure, Celebration, and Bravo. Another interesting Version is Starter. Starter is a Version of Starter decks such as Capricorn, Aries, and Libra.
- The Pokémon main series consist of 25 (Japan) or 24 (International) versions spanning total of six generations. All versions are made for Nintendo's handheld systems: Game Boy (4 Japan/3 International versions), Game Boy Color (3 versions), Game Boy Advance (5 versions), Nintendo DS (9 versions), and Nintendo 3DS (4 versions).
- The #version extended command displays information about your version of NetHack. For a short one-line version information, you can press v. Along with the version number, useful information about the set compile-time options and available windowing systems are shown. Certain things can be compiled in or out of the game; #version will show a list of all options compiled in. Whether you can't remember if you are allowed to play the Tourist role or if the Keystone Kops may appear when shoplifting, the information appears here. Within the options compiled in is a range of versions that save and bones files from the current version will be compatible with.
