1. Sift flour, Sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. 2. Beat egg lightly in a small bowl, stir in orange rind and juice, butter and hot water. Add to dry ingredients; mix thoroughly. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Turn batter into a well-greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. 3.Bake at 350F oven for 50 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
