As a result, he was promptly signed by Cowell, has since released 6 albums, and Became the biggest selling male artist of 2008. He has duetted and performed With some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Michael Buble, Taylor Swift, Bryn Terfel, Enrique Iglesias, Celine Dion and Nicole Scherzinger. Rhydian has starred in numerous West End/Broadway productions, such as Grease, We Will Rock You, The War Of The Worlds, and in 2014 he joined the 40th anniversary tour of the cult show The Rocky Horror Show playing the title Role of Rocky. Last year he played the role of Pontius Pilate in Bill Kenwright’s Production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2011 he presented and performed in a 10 episode series of his own light Entertainment show on S4C television titled ‘Rhydian’, guests included many Household names such as Jeff Wayne, Hayley Westenra, Aled Jones, Ruthie Henshall, Spellbound and more! One of his proudest moments was duetting with the star of Let It Go from the Film Frozen - ldina Menzel, who features on his album Rhydian. He was invited by Andrew Lloyd Webber to play The Phantom at the Composers 60th birthday celebrations. On the 14th of April 2014, he released his fifth album, One Day Like This which features duets with Bonnie Tyler and West End star, Kerry Ellis. The Album Stormed to No 1 in the Official Classical Charts for 10 consecutive weeks, making It one of the highest selling Classical albums of 2014. In the winter of 2014/2015 Rhydian played the title role of the Beast in Beauty And the Beast during Windsor Theatre Royal’s Panto season, as well as playing The role of Prince Charming in the UK Production of Cinderella. Rhydian has just completed his 3rd UK solo tour, and is a Classical Brit Award Nominee. His new album Carry The Fire is out now. He plays Orin Scrivello, D.D.S. in the 2016 UK Tour of Little Shop of Horrors.
