Halo: The Darkest Times is a American live-action television series based on the acclaimed Halo (series) originally created by Bungie and now managed by 343 industries. Developed by Steven_Spielberg and Peter_Jackson in collaboration with noted screenwriter Robert Rodat and creature designed by Guillermo_del_Toro. It follows the time of the post-war era, and has the Destiny Team (consisted of spartans Adrien-A1456, Rhea-C1734, Malcolm-A1690 and Nadya-B1777) as the focus for the majority of the episodes. The series sticks close to the games as adding new content, characters, events and adding content not so explored in the Halo universe, such as political intrigues, social problems and more about religion, from humans and alien.

USA network has confirmed that the first season of Halo: The Darkest Times will be 50 episodes long.
