He served in the 327th Attack Battalion, under Commander Dadelus and Jedi Master Koth Se'lab, in several battles including Muunilinst, Jabiim, Cato Nemoidia, and Coruscant. During a patrol on Nemoidia after the battle there, Order 66 was initiated, and Commander Dadelus ordered the 2nd Company to open fire on Master Se'lab. But Delta, Eta, and Gamma hearing the order, instinctively used Force Persuasion on the other clones, suppressing the Order, and they instead opened fire on Dadelus, killing him instantly. Delta, Master Se'lab and the 2nd company then captured the Venator-class Star Destroyer Marauder. The Marauder opened fire on and destroyed the Acclamator II-class Cruiser Finisher when it tried to stop them from escaping the system. They then traveled to the Bakura system, a Republic and now Imperial outpost in the outer rim. During the trip, Master Se'lab taught Delta, Gamma, and Eta the ways of the Force, including Force Persuasion. When they arrived, the four of them used Persuasion to convince the Battalion stationed on Bakura to join them. The Spaarti cloning facilities on Bakura were put to good use, quickly raising their numbers to 500,000 troops, 20,000 of which were Force Shocktroopers, They also acquired the ships under construction there. Delta then founded the Clone Republic, which quickly conquered Rattatak, Cerea, Endor, and Bespin.
