abstract	Mutsuki Tachibana is a male character in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly. He is the twin brother of Itsuki Tachibana and elder brother of Chitose Tachibana in the game. He and his brother are Altar Twins. While Itsuki seemed to have been the more social of the two, it is known that Mutsuki was also very good friends with the Twin Shrine Maidens, Yae and Sae Kurosawa, as well as the outsider Ryozo Munakata. Before their Crimson Sacrifice Ritual, Itsuki made a promise to Mutsuki that, if their ritual was to fail, he would not allow Sae and Yae to suffer the same fate. Their ritual did fail, for the brothers loved each other too much, and Itsuki kept his promise to his late brother to help save their close childhood friends. Mutsuki is only seen in the Male Twin photo, taken in Itsuki's room in the Tachibana house, and in the Twins & Girl photo.
