Gracie Hirosaki was a female Human in Starfleet in the 23rd century. Between 2281 and 2288, she and Dr. Azark led a team of Starfleet and Thevosian scientists who developed a protomatter-based shockwave weapon. The project was abandoned after the testbed ship, USS Pacific, was captured by rebels and later destroyed by the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-A) in 2288. (TOS comic: "The Peacekeeper") Hirosaki was proud of her contributions to the weapon development project, which she believed an important contribution to the prospects for galactic peace. (TOS comic: "The Peacekeeper")

| - Gracie Hirosaki was a female Human in Starfleet in the 23rd century. (TOS comic: "The Peacekeeper") She worked with Montgomery Scott "on a couple of old clunkers" earlier in their careers, on assignments she termed "hard engineering time." In 2288, she remarked that she'd learned to exaggerate the difficulty of engineering work at the same time he did. The two were good friends; Scott described her as "smoother'n thirty-year-old scotch," and she proclaimed him "the greatest miracle-worker around." (TOS comic: "The Peacekeeper") Commodore Hirosaki is incorrectly depicted with the insignia of a Fleet Captain in The Peacekeeper. Dialogue repeatedly identifies her rank as Commodore.
