Nina gets to know Kemp after she has been turned into a werewolf by George. Feeling rejected by George, who is dealing with his own issues (as having killed for the first time), Nina turns to Kemp. Kemp promises Nina to get rid of the werewolf curse and tells Nina that he will help her. A long time later Nina finds out that Kemp does not cure the werwolves but kills them. But by that time she is already to far in the CenSSA organisation and could only be saved by Mitchell.
